Farewell, Big Brother
I had a friend who disconnected, blinded by the sun
Always searching and on the run
Alone and lost
Paid the price, ignored the cost
What is the answer to the question “where do I fit in?”
You know it’s always hard to be on the outside looking in
I had friend who felt rejected, who believed a lie
Always living on borrowed time
Alone, lost
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust
What is the answer to the question “where do I fit in?”
You know it’s always hard to be on the outside looking in
What’s the worth of it all, when even the brightest stars can fall?
And I wish they still shined, because they lit up the sky, yeah they lit up the night

It's just a banger from start to finish. Old school hardcore in the youth crew tradition. Lyrical positivity. Music that lifts you up. Keep 'em coming. wasclafton

A standout full-length debut in what has been an incredible year for hardcore. Ecostrike play a incendiary, impassioned brand of straight edge metallic hardcore that recalls One Truth-era Strife and early Earth Crisis, but are far from being a simple retread of 90’s past. One of the year’s best releases. Busty Loads
The Minneapolis band add a horn section, a running surrealist allegory about walls, and an occasional nod to the elegiac to their electroshocked post-punk. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 4, 2024
